Cade's 2nd Birthday

Cade is already two!! He is getting so big, so fast. We celebrated Cade's birthday on Saturday because we were at the Jazz Game on his real birthday. We has spoiled by us and all of his grandparents on his birthday. Jesse and I gave him his first basketball hoop. He loves playing with it but he likes to have the stool so that he can dunk the ball. Cade was given a bubble blowing lawn mower from Gma Jan and Gpa Ned and Gma Julie and Gpa Zebbie gave him a Cade proof (metal) John Deere Tractor. Taylor got him a little truck and trailer that carries a 4-wheeler. (He took it to church today and it kept him entertained for one hour and 10 minutes, I loved it.)

Cade getting ready to blow the candles out on his cake.

Cade trying out his lawn mower last Sunday before Gma Jan had to go home, since then we have refilled the mower twice with bubbles. It works really good.

Cade was "Mechanic-ing" on the tractor when he got it out of the box, by hooking some little twist ties onto the hitch.

Cade's cake!! Basketball!!

Cade assisted me in the making of the cake and licked the spatula and beater. Birthday tradition you know!

Jazz vs Phoenix Game- April 14, 2010

Recently my work gave me tickets to go a Jazz Game. This was a very special Jazz Game because the Jazz were playing the Phoenix Suns. We were given seats that were behind the basket at the Suns bench end and on the FOURTH row. It was awesome!! This was quite the game, if you were no aware my husband is a big time Suns fan and has been since he was a little boy and Danny Ange played for the Suns. I was split as to who to cheer for because I am suppose to cheer for the Jazz and they have been the team I have cheered for my whole life, but to keep the piece in my life I also cheered for the Suns. So I clapped each time either team made a basket. Go Teams!! It was a good thing that I had the option of who to cheer for because the Jazz forgot they were at a basketball game and lost by 14 points. Go Jazz!

This is Mike and Meridee McDermott. They manage the Western Seeds in Tremonton, Utah. We got to go with them to the game, they were pretty disappointed in their Jazz and had to leave a few minutes before the game ended. (Sorry Mike) We did get to enjoy a really nice dinner with them at the Outback Steakhouse before the game and catch up on stuff we talk about on the phone everyday.

The Jazz bear was pretty good entertainment.

Tip-Off

Steve Nash (Jesse's favorite player). He is pretty awesome to watch play in real life. He is very determined and a great player.

Easter 2010

Taylor and Cade tried to make the biggest mess possible when it came to decorating eggs but we succeeded to only spill a little bit of the dyes in the table.
We got to dye eggs at Uncle Zane's house.
He joined in the fun at made some really pretty eggs!!

Taylor tried her hardest to dye the most eggs.

Taylor and Cade were anxiously awaiting the time when it was warm enough to go and pick up eggs that the Easter bunny left on Gma Julie's lawn.

Salt Lake City Trip- March 18, 2010

During Jesse's spring break we needed to get out of town for a couple days so we decided to take a little trip to Salt Lake and do a little touring around and shopping. The kids favorite part was the hotel all they wanted to do was stay at the hotel. Taylor loved jumping on the bed and Cade loved sitting at the window and watching the Trax trains go by. This was a nice little trip for our family and for the most part it was relaxing.

Sweet Pea!

Every little girl's birthday wish is to get a pony. On Sunday we went down the road to the neighbors house to look at this sweet little pony that they had and didn't need. She had been living a corral with the cows and she is still kind of a mess but Taylor will love and brush her every single day if we let her. We didn't know if we wanted to be pony owners but this pony had such a nice personality about her that we decided to give her a try.

I think that the pony is not going to have any shortage of love in her live her at the Miller house. All Taylor does right now is talk about her Sweet Pea and ask if we can ride her. She is a sweety!!

The biggest problem we will have is sharing the horse because Cade thinks that he has to be riding the horse if Taylor is, so far with her first day a two kids climbing all over her she has done very well.

Taylor welcoming her to the family yesterday when we got her out of the horse trailer.

Taylor giving Sweet Pea a test ride around the lawn when we got her home.
